And so you ask…
What’s the Haunted Cave?
The Haunted Cave is the biggest and only fundraiser
for Northmont Science Olympiad.
We begin putting the show together in the spring, and work through the summer getting all of the scenes ready to scare our customers.
It is only through the combined efforts of all of the Science Olympiad team members, families and partner organizations that we can make this cave a success. The financial return from operating the cave helps purchase training materials, books, software and building supplies for the Science Olympiad team. Additionally, funds are used to offset the hotel and travel expenses of participating team members at Invitationals located in distant cities. The support of team members is crucial to making this work.
The Haunted Cave at Lewisburg is open for business every Friday and Saturday night. The Cave opened the last weekend in September and will remain open until October 31st.
7:00 PM until 12:00 AM.
This is your chance to get dressed up and scare our customers.
We will need our volunteers to show up at 6 pm and work until the last ticket is sold. Early in the season, expect to leave at midnight...but as the season progresses it may be later. Please advise your rides.
Again, dress appropriately for the conditions...
in other words wear some layers under your costume.
And DON’T FORGET A FLASHLIGHT!
